Justin Timberlake has now added acting to his resume. The former member of the boy band *NSYNC was on the set of “The Social Network” filming on location in Los Angeles on January 30, 2010 a day before his 28th birthday.

Also spotted on the set was co-star Jesse Eisenberg. “The Social Network” chronicles the founding of the popular social networking group, Face book, which claims to have 300 million users worldwide.

Timberlake plays the character of Sean Parker, co-founder of Napster who invested some of his money in the social network’s early days.

Social Network started production in November here in Boston and the surrounding area. Timberlake did not appear on the Boston set, but his co- star Jesse Eisenburge did. Social Network plans on having the movie out bye 2011.
