Ed Lauter and his wife Marchell Williams most likely woke up this morning feeling thankful to the parking staff at the Chateau Marmont. The couple attended the Pre-Golden Globe Party January 16, 2010 and left a little intoxicated.

When the valet pulled his car up they decided they would not let him drive. Ed pleaded with them claiming he only lived up the street.

After a few minutes his wife decided she would drive instead. But Marchell was also intoxicated was unable to convince the guys she was okay.

They never did give Ed or Marchell the keys! After pleading again and speaking with hotel security for about 10 minutes, a cab was flagged down to drive the “happy” couple home. Who knew the parking staff at Chateau Marmont was so responsible?
