Columbia Pictures is setting up shop in the Bay State for the feature film production of “What is Your Number”. The feature will star Anna Faris (Brokeback Mountain, Scary Movies). The film will be directed by Mark Mylod (nothing worth mentioning).

The comedy is based on a Karyn Bosnak novel, “Twenty Times A Lady’. The story is about a woman who looks back at the past 20 men she has slept with and wonders if one of them is Mr. Right.

When Delilah wakes up one morning in a bed that’s not her own, she experiences the biggest regret of her life. Not only did she have drunken sex with her disgusting former boss Roger (who fired her the day before) but in doing so she hit her self-imposed ‘number limit’; she’s had sex with twenty men. The one spot she had left was supposed to be saved for the man she would marry. Refusing to give up on her number limit, she goes and tracks down all the men she’s ever slept with. Somewhere amongst them must be The Man, only she didn’t realize it at the time…

Columbia Pictures loves the Bay State. They recently used the area for such films: “Mall Cop”, “Pink Panther Deux”, “Grown Ups”.

This production will film in Massachusetts between May and July.
